I Don't Know When or Where, but I Know I'll See You Again

By: Josie Griffith

When we met, I welcomed you with open arms. No matter how crazy it sounds, I knew from the moment I met you that something was going to happen between us.

I wasn't sure of very much; I didn't know where I wanted to go or who I wanted to be. While those were things I had to learn how to handle on my own, you did have an impact.

It took time and a little faith, but before long, I realized that there was a reason that you and I found one another. I will never be anything but grateful for you and everything that you taught me.

I have no idea what comes next, but I do know one thing for certain: even though the timing might not have been right the first time, one day, we'll see one another again.

And when that happens, I want you to remember that you opened my eyes to the world. You pretty much swept me off my feet.

You gave me a little bit of hope, something that's rare in this world.

Someone once told me that if you love someone, you need to set them free because if it's really meant to be, they'll come back to you.

I hope that you come back to me someday because I know that we could really be something.

I hope that you think about me and smile sometimes and that your heart feels the same way mine does.

I'm not waiting around for you though; I just have a feeling that I'll see you again. I've learned to trust my gut about things that really matter.

Whenever you're ready, whenever fate brings us back together, I'm going to be there.

I know that sounds crazy, but crazy can be a good thing. Sometimes it just means that we still have a little hope left, and that's what you've given me.
