This Is Us, These Are Our Battles...

This Is Us, These Are Our Battles...

"Depression" what a scary word for some.

But for others is part of our daily routine. We have lived with it and survived it.

Being depressed doesn't mean we are crazy or mentally disabled. It means that we have been strong for too long and we are tired. We have been thru a lot. We have been up and down. We have laugh and cry. We have our good days and we have our dark ones.

We know we got a lot to live, and life has a lot to give. But sometimes we can't see past the clouds and the sun is nowhere to be found.

We are overthinkers, we want to understand everything, especially why these things happen to us.Why people act certain ways? What is the meaning of life?

We love music. Music is our flight to another dimension away from the world and the loud crowd.

Sleep is our best resting place, while we sleep we don't think. We dream this perfect and better life that we deserve, where no problems are to be found.

Yes, we may be distant. We do that because we are on a journey of finding ourselves too. But when we become distant and push people away it doesn't mean that we don't care about them. It doesn't mean that we don't love them, is just sometimes we preferred being alone than giving explanations of something that we don't really understand.

Yes, we need the support of our loved ones. We do need to feel them being there for us.

That's why I'm grateful for all those who have stayed by my side in my darkest moments. Just with your presence, it's enough for me. Knowing that you care, even though you can't help me with some stuff.

And to those who have left, thank you too. Because you showed me who really cares for me and who doesn't. I don't hate you, on the contrary, I'm grateful for the moments you gave me while you were in my life.

Everyone that you meet in life comes with a purpose, even to teach you a lesson. Some are here to stay and others are supposed to keep their journey thru life on another road.

We are sorry for those who we have hurt, because of our ways of being. We didn't mean to hurt them in any way.

Shout out to those who are living with depression, we are strong, we can go thru this. We will win this battle. That voice has nothing on us. We are better. We are worth it. We are loved.

Those who have left this world, we will remember them in our hearts. You will never be forgotten.
